The kiss of death for SSS

Thanks to everyone who visits each week! I truly appreciate it, especially those who comment.

Here's a little something new, another dark paranormal, with touches of erotic romance and humor. It's now out on submission, so fingers crossed. :)

Here's the opener to Death Is A Bitch, and a peek at who I imagined as Death:

Stardust glinting in her black hair that dipped to her waist, Death stepped from the shadowy curtain of night along a deserted stretch of road toward the mangled hunk of cherry-red metal that used to be a sweet Z240 sports car.

Inside it, a thirtyish man slumped behind the wheel, the air bag deflating away from his near-lifeless body. Blood oozed from a nasty gash to his head. Should have worn his seat belt. Too late for life lessons, though. Those weren’t her expertise anyway - just the opposite.

Check out all the amazing participating authors at Six Sentence Sunday.
I won't see you next week, as I'll be away for the weekend, but I'll give another peek at Death on the 18th! Have a great week!
