All wet for SSS

Thanks so much to everyone who visits, and especially for your comments! They mean a lot to me.

Here's another snippet from my paranormal romance, The Magic of Lavender, Book One of The Goddess Connection.

To set up the scene, veterinarian Eric Hendricks has fallen for his new neighbor, Joss Gibson. He doesn't realize this makes him a target of the Lord of the Underworld and his minions, who want to control the energy in the ley lines beneath the inn Joss bought.
Eric's in the shower, and he's  not alone... mwahaha!

Water ran in rivulets down the opaque glass shower door. He tensed at seeing the outline of a small hand, smaller than a child’s.

Like images on photographic paper, small hands appeared randomly, one by one, disappearing as quickly as they came.

“Who’s there?”

A hollow whisper echoed, but he couldn’t make out the words.
The glass cleared, and a hiss sounded through the steam.

Thanks for reading!

Going by your 'mwhahaha' line, I thought there was going to be a bit of naughty-naughty in the shower but methinks whoever it was, wasn't exactly human! Intriguing snippet!

Not quite the Psycho shower scene, but I'm checking the stall before getting in. Maybe Eric should have too! Good and creepy six.

Spooky. The little hands thing is really creepy plus being in the shower naked and vulnerable.

YIkes! Totally creepy. Reminds me of the shower scene in "Psycho" -- something I've just barely recovered from seeing. Now I'm gonna be washing my hair with my eyes open.
