I used to be a very organized person. These past few years, it’s been a
challenge, but I’m trying! Sometimes life’s absurdities knock me off course.
Everyone’s busy, I know. I wish there were some magic trick to keeping on top
of everything but there’s not, so I plow ahead.
Goals for this year
I have three stories contracted with
Decadent for release this year – yay! Cursed is Book 1 of The Vitruvian Man series – a
paranormal with an unusual hero. Two others are contemporary 1 Night Stand
shorts. Wild Life is a collection of literary short stories under my pen name
of C.A. Masterson contracted with Sunbury Press that will release around
mid-year.
So I don’t need a crystal ball to see
edits and promo in my future. I’m really excited about them and hope readers
love them as much as I do.
In the meantime, I have other projects
calling me:
First
up, to finish Charmed, the second novella in The Vitruvian Man series and
submit to Decadent
To finish a draft of the third
full-length novel in The Goddess Connection series. This one’s lighter in tone
than the first two, and has been a lot of fun to work on. I started it almost a
year ago, and continue to research and write. I’m juggling ideas for a title.
After ordering more print copies of my
dark paranormal, Dead to Rights, I’ll be searching for local signings or book
fairs. Or maybe I’ll have to plan one! Mwahahaha.
I’m thinking Valentine’s Day would be
great for a blog event – what do you think? Anyone want to join in? It will probably run February 1 through 14, and I'll throw some fun questions together. Just let me know if you want to be part of Celebrate Amore!

I'm amazed by all of the projects you juggle. I couldn't do it!
I'm exhausted, just reading your list of coming soons and coming some days!
As for the Be My Valentine....guest?
MEMEMEMEMEEMMEMEM!!!! My Valentine's 1NS, FROST, releases 2/12, so I'm totally looking for guest spots!
Wow, you always amaze me with your creative production.
I would love to be your guest sometime. Pencil me in, or type me in or ink me in, whatever.
Sure, I want to be a guest again. I love your blog.
You amaze me too, Cate. I wish I had just a little bit of your pep. I don't know how you can write so much and do all that you do. I would be sitting in a corner cutting out paper dolls.
You are one great woman and writer.
The ninja captain does more in a day than I do in a week, lol. Thanks Alex.
Haha, Taryn, you crack me up. Yay for February Frost! You have a spot for sure.
Cool Susan! I'll mark you down too.
Valentines Day is my anniversary, we eloped -- such romantics.
When I first read this I thought of how hard I find self promotion. I still question everyday why I consider myself a writer.
Every time I post my writing and someone says they've enjoyed it, I still wonder if they are only being kind. I know talk about insecure.... yeah that's a good discussion and why Alex posted a blog around it, I know....
Still, I love interviewing others and promoting others and have always thought that by doing that some of it would rub off on me. I still doubt the validity of my own books because they are self published -- and with all that said if you want a reluctant guest... I'm here
I love the name of your publisher.
Lorrie, I had to fish your comment out of the spam folder again. Of course I'd love to have you!
And you too, Yolanda. I know how painful marketing is, lol. So I try to help make it fun, and help other authors in the process.
Thanks Michael! I love both Decadent Publishing and Sunbury Press. :)
I'd like to guest, if you still have room! Thanks for the opportunity!
Happy to have you, Georgie!
