November 1 strikes fear into the heart of many a writer. Yes, it's that time again - NaNoWriMo.
Although I've been an official participant in past years, I skipped it the past few years. Instead of only one month a year, I tried to apply the NaNoWriMo principles to every month.
This year's been a little crazy, and life sidelined my writing. So to get back on track, I'm shooting for 50k through NaNoWriMo and another program. I'm aiming to complete two novellas rather than a full-length novel, but the end result will be the same - 50,000 words, or if I'm able, even more.
Writing two stories within two programs might make it slightly more manic. Alternatively, if I look on the bright side, it's double the team support! In any case, I still have that final word count total to get to.
I'll be posting here less this month to concentrate more on my writing.
Are you doing NaNo this year? Have you ever? Would you again?
